Business Development Manager

Cafeyn is hiring!

About

Cafeyn (originally launched as LeKiosk in 2006) is a leading digital media streaming platform, offering a catalogue of over 2,500 newspapers and magazines to over 1.5 million active users in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, UK, Ireland, Austria and Spain.

Since its creation, Cafeyn’s ambition, driven by a deep passion for the media, has been to connect readers to the content that is relevant to them, by offering an ultra-high-performance platform based on advanced technology.

Cafeyn is giving readers the ability to change the way they consume information. Where others see information as content, Cafeyn see it as knowledge. Where others consider only one side of the story, Cafeyn believe we need all the information to understand the full picture. Where others seek quantity, Cafeyn seek quality. Since its inception 15 years ago, Cafeyn has continued to rapidly innovate the way it promotes information streaming at a time when the industry is reinventing itself and the way the public consumes information is changing.

Within the last 15 years, Cafeyn has built strong relationships with publishers and partners by developing innovative and sustainable business models. We have built trusted relationships with partners such as Vodafone, O2, SFR, Canal Plus, and Bouygues Telecom. The immediate attraction to partners is the increased access to content that a Cafeyn membership can offer their premium customers – for a telco this increases both data usage and customer stickiness.

With a team of more than 170 people working in 5 different countries, Cafeyn’s ambition is to be a recognised global leader in information streaming. Cafeyn is the market leader in France and looks to replicate this success in international markets. The recent acquisitions of Blendle, the Netherlands biggest news platform, follows the successful acquisition of miLibris, the technology service provider to publishers that operates in France and Canada. The combination of Blendle and miLibris under the Cafeyn umbrella means the company now has employees in France, UK, Netherlands and Canada. These acquisitions aim to accelerate Cafeyn’s ambitious international expansion plan. The Cafeyn platform offers thousands of titles, news, and magazines, accessible via tablet, mobile app, or PC.
